    Default bump and being sick

Child age 14 mnths bumps head at 12pm, good bruise and raised bump and bit lip!, eqts lunch and dinner fine, at 7.30pm has tempreature so I give calpol 15 mins later as mum collects child is sick, mum said this morning child had tempreature yesterday and has a cold. Could being sick be bump related or would that be more instant and sick could be due to illness

I'm not sure tbh but I would prob suggest contacting NHs direct to seek their advice, not sure it's worth risking just in case it is bump related x

could and most likely is a coincidence, but i would take to a and e to get checked as you can never be too careful with head injury x

I would take to a&e aswell. any sickness within 24 hours of a head injury should be checked out.

Most likely a coincidence & nothing to worry about, but I would get it checked out.

My son was hit on the head when he was little (playing crazy golf with his brother!). He was sick a couple of hours later. We took him to A&E where they kelpt him in overnight for observation. He was perfectly fine, but better to be safe than sorry.

Calpol can sometimes make them sick, but best to err on the side of caution I think.
