Yippee
He lost his job 5 weeks ago. Being polite getting under my feet !!!!! Lots of interviews and was offered a job today and starts on Monday. Cannot wait to tell my boys after school. A big weight off our shoulders.

Congratulations, it must be a great weight off your minds.
My DH was made redundant 4years ago, luckily he found a job inside a month but it was a frantic time.Toothfairy

My DH lost his job early Sept and started new job just after Christmas, not as well paid, but better than nowt! He applied for 383 jobs before finally getting an offer :-0

Yes, a big weight off shoulders. It happened four years ago as well. I got him registered as my assistant then but he couldn't wait to get back to work couldn't cope with the children!!! Was out of work for about 5 weeks then. We spent his redundancy money on my zaf so cannot grumble. Was worried this time due to all the bad news going round on the job front but has been really lucky and only lost job on 24 jan and he starts Monday. I was only saying that it would be good if get something and start next week as because he hit 30 days income protection ins kicked in yesterday so mortgage etc covered and still have redundancy money. It proves that there are jobs out there it is just a case of if you have skills that people are looking for.
