Chicken Pox

Just got a text with picture from a mum with her son covered in spots !!!! I said chicken pox and that he can't come here until 5 days from onset of rash , is this correct.

( I do have a health agency poster but lent it to another minder and she has gone away for a few days !!!).

They should be off until the last spot has crusted over. Otherwise they are contagious.

Thank you :-) I thought it was crusted over also, ill see how the week goes and no doubt she will text me and ill ask if they have crusted if not , and tell her he can't come unless there crusted .
