Quick replies needed- Is this an appropriate reply?
I've just had a text from a parent confirming that they'd like to use me (only visited this afternoon!) and I was going to write 'that's lovely to hear, thank you for choosing me to look after X' and then go on to explain what they need to do next regarding deposit. DH thinks it sounds a bit.... Mushy??
Four years I've been doing this and I still need to check with you guys!!
Is it an appropriate response?

I think that sounds nice, that's the sort of thing I'd say
-
I don't think it's mushy. Lovely and polite response

Sounds good to me

Sounds okay to me too
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door
-
I always say/text
It was lovely to meet you and x today and I am sure x will fit in here with no problems.
I think it shows that I am happy they want to come to me but I'm not thanking them.
I don't like to sound to grateful
