    Default nap time trouble

    hello,
I'm relatively new to this board but wondering if i could ask some opinions?

I have three mindees at the minute and one of them needs to be rocked to sleep. He screams and screams if left to self settle and just won't nap.
If left awake he gets tired and irritable, and the crying is scaring the other children.
I dont have the time to be rocking him to sleep if the other two want to stay awake...has anyone had a similar situation and have any words of wisdom?
wanted to get some ideas before i mentioned it to parent.

If I've got one that needs rocking to sleep then I rock them in the pushchair while the others do a quiet activity like playdough or colouring so I can still watch them and help if needed but can still rock the buggy.

I do the same as Helen - rock a buggy or depending on the time of day we all go out for a walk.

I find a lot of little ones sleep better outside so I often bundle us all up and go out for a play

I have one that I put in a sling so that he will go to sleep while I'm walking about. I might sometimes go out for a walk knowing a child will fall asleep on the walk too.
