    Default Feeling very self-righteous ...:)

...had a bit of free time on my hands today so,did I sit in front of Jez Kyle with a cuppa and hot buttered toast? No-I had a toy tidy up and clear out!!
Little People toys are in the dishwasher as we speak (I always put one lot of toys through the dishwasher per week-duplo last week, train set the week before, play food before that;don't even need a dishwasher tablet-just a squirt of Fairy!),have chucked some very-annoying-toys-that-the-kids -love-but-I-hate in the bin(before they see them!),got rid of some very tatty books(took pages out for scissor cutting practice then recycled the rest) and cleaned all the toy shelves with spray bleach.
...how to tell the children that they are not allowed to play with anything later...
    ..off to polish my halo..

    Well done Lisa.

Can I ask how you wash the toys in the dishwasher, what do you put them in so they dont fall through. My Duplo could do with a good wash and was just wondering x

I use some of the net bags you can put in the washing machine when I wash toys in the dishwasher.

Wow washing toys in the dish washer - thats fab! I usually wash them by soaking in the bath with milton and then draining and leaving in there til they are as dry as they can be.

they don't get bone dry cos they're plastic so you have to drain them a bit sometimes but it's so much easier!
