Hi I currently look after minder 2 days a week, the rest of the week she goes to nursery. Mum has been offered a place at the local pre school for pm only and has asked if I can have her in the mornings 2 mornings I will go over my numbers to 4 (I have a part timer on shift pattern so i won't always be over) can I do this or not?

If I understand the new variation, you will be ok as it is continuity of care, risk assess the days you will be over to ensure you will be able to manage 4 lo's

I agree with Cathtee assuming that you won't go over 6 under 8 in total.
