Default Any ideas on how to remove vomit stain on carpet?

Mindee vomited on my beige carpet a few days ago. I cleaned it with soapy water but when it had dried it left a stain. Any ideas? Thanks.

This happened to me the other day although not a cream carpet. I washed the area with warm water mixed with carpet cleaner and then steam cleaned.

I've got one of these and I have to say I was really disappointed

It's really heavy so there is no way you can hold it in one hand to steam clean and a cloth in the other so all the dirt just gets blasted around!!

I also found the cloths for the floor didn't hold much dirt and the velco bits ripped off in the wash
