I'd use cold to start off with - hot may make it solidify!

I actually tip as much of the water away as I can, and then let the gloop dry. We usually do ours outside in a tuff tray, so it generally dries within an hour or so. I then pick up the pieces carefully and either throw them away, or put them in a container (without lid) and use again. I just brush the powdered bits away.

I like this tip, always looking to re-use where I can!

We made it with yellow food dye once, when we let it dry out, we crumbled it up and it was then a quarry and the diggers etc went in and started moving it about. Two lots of play in one. Then bag it and rehydrate at a later date - if not filthy by this stage!

re-use whenever we can in this house!
