    Default Sun cream

Do you ask parents to apply sun cream before they bring children to you?

I don't ask them to! One or two will come with it already on, but we have asked parents to supply cream in case of allergies, although we do have some should they forget!!

No, I wouldn't know who had it on and it probably wouldn't last the day anyway. I never seem to get all mine to bring it so I tend to keep them in shade and wearing hats (usually my spares!)

Yes its their child and their responsibility to make sure they arrive already creamed and it is stated in the permission form that they sign. They then place the bottle labelled with the child's name in their bag for me to reapply as and when necessary.

No. I figure the less I ask parents to do the easier it is for both them and me. They don't need it on to do the morning school run and then when we get back and have had breakfast I'll put suncream on them for them playing outside and re-apply throughout the day as needed. I also supply the suncream.

yes I do because when I did the school runs we would then go to the park after and I didnt have time to supervise the creaming of 8 children in at 8am each morning. If they dont come with it on then they had to stay in the shade till they went in to school, if they dont bring it with them then again they have to stay in the shade at the park. I wont be responsible for burnt kids who then sue me later on in life cause they have skin cancer.

Some do some don't, to be honest some of mine wouldn't have the money for it anyway, I always buy some when it's half price at the beginning of the season, all lo's are creamed up regularly with either theirs or mine. (written permission ) schoolers cream themselves up if not already done.

No I don't. Sometimes the children have it on and sometimes they dont. If they don't and I think its necessary then I provide it and put it on the younger ones myself.

I don't ask them to and would never presume they have. I ask for suncream and apply regularly throughout the day x

I ask that they provide their own sun cream but no, I don't ask them to apply it before the child/ren get to me (one parent does it anyway without being asked). I try to keep them out of the sun as much as possible.

I ask parents to apply sun cream before their child comes to me and also to supply the cream with their child's name on so I can reapply later in the day.
