Default Need help with notice letter

My assistant has been offered a full time job and is therefore thinking about accepting it . I only need her at present on a Wed & THurs morning. I will therefore need to give notice to 1 lo's parents as I will be over my numbers without an assistant. Any help on wording this letter would be appreciated. Many thanks

That's a shame. Is there no chance of finding another assistant?

Could you not get a variation to cover you until someone leaves?

I did think about a variation but as I've only had lo since February I wasn't sure if it was worth it? I know a few cm's in my area that would be able to have lo so don't think mum would have trouble finding another cm.

Just say that due to a change in circumstances you are unable to continue caring for the child.

Remind parents to cancel tax credits claim.

Thank them for letting you share in their child's learning journey.

    Hth
