I usually only do daily diaries for my younger children but entirely up to you. Maybe ask the parents what they would like? Most school age children will tell mum and dad what they've been up to anyway

I would say no to this. We are not supposed to, but I guess if a parent wants it...

I do holiday diaries with the children during the summer, but have never done a diary for a schooler.

I've always done diaries for little ones only. I always think that the schoolies can tell their parents what they have been doing.

I find daily diaries quite hard to keep up with just for the younger children. We've recently stopped doing diaries for over threes as these children are quite capable of telling their parents what we've been doing. I definitely wouldn't for a school-age child.
