When my youngest son was about 14 he made red nose cakes (fairy cakes with cherries for noses) and sold them to friends and neighbours. He did it all on his own and made about £14 for Comic Relief, a lot of money back then (he is 30 now!) I was so proud of him and still am

Anway back to what we are doing! We are thinking of doing something like a Gruffalo party, food with child's name, like in the story. e.g. and his favourite food is Pauline Pie

make Gruffalo masks, put up the balloons and make the Gruffalo finger puppets on the website.

We will make a collection box and ask the parents to 'pay' for the children to come to the party, small change and any collected from friends, not sure yet.

It is all in the planning stage at the moment

If you go to the rednose site you can download a pack & there is a red nose to colour in there.

May do a few bits next week with mindee, she won't be here on 18th when it is official red nose day. Really do hope mommy takes her to playgroup that day as she will miss such a lot if she doesn't.
