    Default Charging for Bank Holidays

How do you work and charge around Xmas time and other bank holidays?

I was perhaps planning on not work working ANY Xmas bank holidays inc New Years Day. However willing to work up until 3pm on Xmas Eve and New Years Eve.

I am prepared to work other bank holidays but how do people generally charge? Time and a half or double time?

Oh also, how do you charge if you usually have a child on a bank holiday but not needed?

I don't work Bank Holidays but I do charge for them, just at my normal rates.

At Christmas I usually have a week off and then I don't charge the BH's as they fall within that week (although I know some childminders do)

I don't work bank or public hols but charge for them.

I take a week over Xmas roughly and if a BH falls within my time off then I don't charge
