I charge a monthly fee and I have just asked my first parent if she needs me. Answer not sure so I may be working I may not. She said that she wants to take the time off so to offer a sweetener I have said that if she does we can go 1/2 and 1/2 on the fee. That went down a treat so I may not be working and may get paid for it

I get paid for the BH and dont work.

I am taking the 29th 30th and31st off unpaid and on the 27th we are going to New York for 5 nights. Yes free flight and a upgrade to club for the 4 of us.

I cannot understand why the BA staff went on strike, with perks like that.
we dont stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing

I'm closed Christmas Eve as I like that with my family psyching the kids up lol! I always have between Christmas and New Year off and then open ready for when the kids go back to school.

This year will be extra special as I'm due o give birth to my 3rd child over the Christmas Hols. I'm not taking any maternity leave so will be working days after the event!

I'm working the 27th, so open that week officially although won't have LO's Mon-Tue but will be paid, have Lo wed/thurs evening for four hours each night, then off the first week in Jan as I'm turning 30 and think I deserve a break for that!!!!! I'm charging usual fee by the way, unless required to work on the Bh which I won't be so not worth mentioning!!

Because of the way the days fall this year, I will be working with one child on 24th and 31st December and two on 30th December. The parents of the child who will be here on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve are never able to take those days off as holiday and they have no alternative cover. My only hope is that the parent does not have to work a full day!!
