Well mum and E the mindee came around after school today.

He is lovely, he got on great with my DS and he just adored my DD (he's an only child so thinks little Amelia is soooooo cute )

Went through the paperwork and mum has decided as well as the Monday and Friday, that are definates, she is also going to pay me for a Wednesday 'just in case' Result!!!

I'm from London, and only mind pre & after school, and charge £5 ph!

I used to charge £4 until I had quite a few parents say "What?? So-and-so charges £x!!".

Depending on the weather they do go to my beautiful local park after school, plus they get a varied menu (pancakes, sandwiches, hot dogs etc, plus fruit & a drink).

Maybe it's a regional thing?

Yes, I charge for my walking up to or back from school times, also walking to pre-school for collections from there. It adds about quarter hour on to each child. As Mr. Tesco says, every little helps!
