    Default Fees chang of hours???

I have a child who comes to me 2.45-5.15 Mon-Fri.
The situation now is that thay informed me that they are now doing mornings 6-8 Monday-Fri. T
The problem is I am full Mon-Wed morning and would be over for 1/2 hour. Have sent form off to Ofsted for a Variation.
So child only coming to me Thursday and Friday morning, they said they will still pay but what do you think I should do
Charge 1/2 fee for Mon-Wed and full fee on Thurs and friday
OR Full fee for the hole week as it is their problem they changed hours at such short notice.

Thanks you for your advice x Kelly

you cant really charge for the days you dont have them as you are not allowed to have them. if you charged then they could ask you to have them as they pay you for that day just wait till ofsted do your variation and then you can have the child and get paid for it.

Fair enough, I do understand that but they only gave me 1 day notice of this which is not fair on me and they aslo said that they will still pay me but don't know weather to charge full or half or I could charge full for the 6-7.30 as I can still have her than and I could not have her between 7.30-8 so not charge this 1/2 hour ???

they should pay you full for the time your contract or policy says for notice required for change of hours/hoildays etc.. but by then your variation should be through.

did you email your variation. if you did contact them at about 2 working days after and they should give you a answer as its continunity of care and should be granted without a doubt.

I have a 4 week policy of change of hours/holidays. So i should charge Mon-Wed what they were doing and Thursday and Fri what they have changed to ??
