I think mum has a fantastic contract.

When I first started I was very nieve and then I spoke to other childminders in my area and found that my prices were really low...

I now charge £5 before school from 7.30am and £1 per breakfast. Any earlier a subsidy is charged.

After school is between £14 and £17 but if she is coming for an hour I would have put a minimum of £10.00 per day on that one.

I would say check you market and go from there.

We all live and learn but well done on getting the mindee.

I would say if you charge £3.00 an hour and you charge for 2 hours a day, 1hour in the morning and 1 hour after school that is right.

i'd change it if you can - i'd say you charge £5 for the morning session per day as its your inconvieniance having to get up and take him to school and then £3 per hour after school. that would make you £40 per week... what do you think?
