    Default Overnight charges for siblings

    Hi there,

I've been asked to have 2 brothers overnight (18 months & 3.5 years) as a one off. I usually have them on a Monday and Tuesday 9am-5pm and parents want me to have them overnight on the Monday as well. I have never provided overnight before and have absolutely no idea what to charge, also should I give a sibling discount etc. Does anyone have any advice please

Are you registered for overnight care? Inform Ofsted if not.

I charge the same hourly rate as during the day. I don't do sibling discount. I know some who charge half fee whilst child is asleep. Remember you are just as responsible at night as during the day and it may take a while for the children to settle.
