    is children that are in full time education are they classed as over 5 years ??? just want to make sure???

    Hi

    Yes they are. I've just applied to have my certificate changed as my son is 4 but in full-time education. Gives me another under 5 allowance.

    As long as they attend "ten educational sessions a week" ie they go to school morning & afternoon..then they are classed as 5 & over...however if they only attend in the mornings (as some schools policy) then they are classed as under 5.

    yes your right, once in full time education they come in your 5to 8s
