    Default Shift work

    Hiya,

I am taking on a little boy for after school times, but his mum works irregular shifts. I've come to the conclusion that I have to either charge a higher fee (about £1 more an hour) or charge a retainer. I would appreciate people's opinions on this..

    Thanks!

I'm in a bit of a different situation that it's a full timer, anything between 1 and 4 days per week but could be any of the five days so technically taking up a full time space. I thought about a retainer but have decided to go with charging minimum two days each week.

Could you do something like that? Retainer may work better for you as it's not as many hours.
