    Default what to charge

I have a job looking after two siblings five days a week and now the older one is going to a school out of my area which we are considering doing a separate school run for. The job starts at 6.30am and has done since the start. I will be negotiating with mum to include drop/col charge and would like to include extra fee for early start now that it is going to be long term. Do you think i should? what would you do? Any advice will be gratefully received x

personally hon, I would't do it. It will make it difficult to take on other children in the future and will be very expensive in petrol

Definitely negotiate to get paid for the extra time and expense going out of your way for the school run. I am not sure though how you will now add in an extra fee for early start when you havent already been doing it. Might be easier for an overall hourly rate rise which would then cover the early start - if that makes sense..... you dont want to loose a full time family ;-)
