Default Is that all we need for EYFS 2012?

So is that all we need for the new EYFS requirements, the 31 page publication? There isn't another part I need to download or anything? Just it's not as bulky as the 2008 pack!
    Am I missing something here!?

I did wonder if we had crashed it LOL - do you think this forum is purely to blame?

I was also thinking it seemed a lot smaller to print out! I hope it is much more simple!

Hi all and sorry to hi-jack this thread. Where did you get the 31 page document that you mentioned? This is all too much for my little brain when I was just getting used to things!

My impressions from reading it was that we'd have to do the 2 yr old assessments thing. This new EYFS seems much easier to follow and like less work but apparently isn't that much different or changed from the old according to my LA. Maybe seeing it all in a different layout has made my brain understand it better?

If you hang fire for a little while all the documents will be in free downloads at the top of the forum.

Then you will be able to grab them from there

Ive spent the afternoon printing all mine...

There are 3 documents. There is the Statutory framework, the new development matters, and the 'know how guide' which explains the age 2 progress check..

I got all 3 this afternoon from the department for education website.

In total it makes about 100 pages!! for me to read in my week off
