    Default What to keep

Ok updating eyfs folders and am a bit confused. What do we keep when a child leaves? and also how long do we need to keep it for? I have photo sheets with activity planning/observation sheets attached, examples of work etc and was just wondering.
Getting confused as alot of translating, as have a polish child, being done at moment so it looks good to Ofsted.

Ofsted will only want to see learning journeys for those children who are still in your care but you could keep a copy of some of your translations to show Ofsted or as a resource if needed for another child in the future.

Generally everything that is relevant to the individual child that I have in their lj goes with them when they leave, otherwise I'd be drowning in paperwork!

If you've done general activity planning/group planning/ theme planning then I would keep copies of that because you might use it all again for another child.

Yes I give all photos and learning journey information to parents.

I will keep contracts, permissions, accident forms etc etc in secure storage until the child is 21 and a bit.
