Default Linking Play & Activities to EYFS

I am updating my learning journey's and always seem to struggle with where things fit within the eyfs. I am completing observations and just could not find where to link puzzles.

I googled linking puzzles to eyfs and got the national strategies website, they have a fantastic area for early years which has the area's of development, in some of the age ranges it has a box called early support, if you click on that it gives you a info box which gives you a breakdown of the area of learning which I thought was great.

Here is the link for the page I was looking at (not to do with puzzles).

If you have the EYFS CD-ROM, this information (along with Early Support tabs, and some video ideas) is on there too
