    Default EYFS

I a just writing up my policies and procedures and wondered if anyone has put any info regarding the EYFS especially regarding the issue over calpol and teething gels.
Has anyone got anything in place or are you telling parents verbally?

As the eyfs doesn't come in until september this year and is still under consultation I haven't put anything in writing or verbally to parents yet as it may change.

    Hope that makes sense

We are hoping this will change anyway... but even if it doesn't it's not legally necessary to do anything about it yet...

I wasn't really planning on changing my policies and hopefully not procedures either! Ha ha!

I'm sick of the sight of them and I don't want to have to reprint loads, issue them to the parents, get them to read and sign them bla.. bla.. bla!

If I can avoid it, I will, so I'm not touching them with regard to EYFS until absolutely necessary!

I am desparately updating my policies at the moment. I make references to B23 and FS becoming the EYFS in September. I also mention in my medication policy where I mention over the prescription medicines I have marked them with a star and mention at the bottom that this may change with the EYFS in Spetember
