planning
Quick question - I'm changing my weekly planning as my groups has changed : Is it ok to focus on one EYFS area e,g, PSED in one activity for all three children but focus on their own next steps within that activity? I may be playing a game and with the group but with one child focusing on learning to share and another on the way he is feeling about sharing?

I do this regularly. As long as you can show that you know what the next steps are and that the activity is planned with these in mind and where you would like the children to go after the activity.

We have recently changed our group planning - we are reading books and then extending them with activity ideas to support all the children - but we will often think about one specific thing with a child and see where that takes us too
