I got mine from PACEY in 2014. It says "Crown Copyright 2012" on the back. If yours does as well, then you're OK.

    All the best,

Development Matters is 2012 - it's good for planning and learning characteristics.

To record progress you need to be using Early Years Outcomes ...

All the current documents can be accessed via the Foundation Years website

    EYFS Statutory Framework

EYFS 2014 is still current, the same goes for Development Matters 2012, EYO and Progress check at 2.
You can also use What to expect, when?

The website is the one where all the docs can be downloaded and, if there are any changes they will be announced there.

For your planning and records you can use DM...or EYO ...or anything you feel happy to follow as neither documents are statutory guidance.

The EYFS will be updated as many sections do not reflect the latest changes ...but...until it is revised the 2014 is the one to follow.
