Asking open-ended questions
This is a link to our latest parent blog - where we talk to parents about how we ask their child/ren open ended questions to develop their thinking skills.
There is a free download at the end. I hope you find it useful

Thank you so much Sarah - for my course on Supporting Children with Speech, Language & Communication - I have chosen to write about making Story sacks for parents to share at home with the children and I have been trying to come up with ideas for a "Parent Prompt" card - some of the ideas for "open questions" are fantastic. (I will include your name in the references).
I am also going to share the link with the parents that you put on a few weeks ago about Neil Griffiths tips for Story telling.
