Islington childminders have a blank template and guide...I have used it today and it was very straight forward.
Follow the guidance from this site which runs the website for the DfE as strategic partner
Foundation Years: From pregnancy to children aged 5
Click on EYFS and look at Progress Check at 2 by NCB...plenty of example there to get you going and devise your own paperwork
I keep being sent here but it's not helping. I have the know how guide but I want a blank template that I can print off... My computer is rubbish and I do everything I can not to use it.
Is there not a blank one anywhere. My daughters preschool have sent home one from the know how guide. So they must have a blank one. Maybe the made it themselves. It's just frustrating they want you to do these legal documents but don't supply you with any paperwork.. Want us to divise is all.
I'm quite annoyed. I have enough to do, am so drained at the moment and they don't supply you with anything ... Rahul.
Rant over sorry :-/
Yes...that is the guidance for all and has been since Sept 2012.
There are various samples of how you can do your check but in the end is what suits you best...you could do one on your computer or by hand.
Read the Know How Guide first and see if you can get started...work on what you have already done for a child up to 2 years and start the Progress Check until you know the child is getting a HV check...then do your summative assessment and send off to parents and HV alike.
Come back if you have any more queries
