    Default Accident/incident record

Hi all, I am wanting to reduce the amount of paperwork I am storing. Under the 2012 changes, can accidents/injury recording be in a notebook or is it still better to use a bigger folder (I use the NCMA accident/incident folder but its A4 size and says Accident/incident rather than accident/injury)? Maybe I should just continue but put a note to change to 'incident' to injury?
    What are your thoughts please?
    many thanks

You need to keep accident / injury records until the child is 21 years and 3 months old - for insurance purposes - and they must be confidential.

From chatting about this previously I think most childminders consider that they are best kept with the child's other documentation - medication records etc.
