Green forum members (those with more than 300 posts) get a 50% discount.

When you reach 300 posts, PM Richard to ask to be upgraded to full green status, then PM again to ask for a code for childcare.co.uk, which you enter on the site when you want to become a gold member.

Woo Hoo - I have just gone green :-)
Think my membership is on credit card for early Jan, can I update to 50%? Is this a permanent offer?

It has to be your name that turns green you are still an amber member

You have to message Richard with a link to your help post - he has the powers.

the dot by your name turns green when you are online

You still appear to be amber. PM Richard to clarify. Each time you want the discount you have to PM Richard for the code.

N.B Richard is on holiday at the moment so you may need to be patient

You have enough posts but don't automatically turn green.

You have to pm Richard with a link to o your say hello post.

Only Richard has the powers to make you a green member :-D

What is a "say hello" post? Richard's away, but I should be able to manage turning someone green

When you reach 300 posts you need to send a PM on the forum to me to request to become a green member. This turns your username on the forum green and gives you access to extra areas on the forum only available to green members.

One of the benefits of being a green member is that you get a 50% discount off a new Childcare.co.uk subscription. To request a discount code you need to contact us at Contact Us - Childcare.co.uk stating that you are a green Childminding Forum member and also state you forum username. A discount code will then be sent to you by email.

If you are already a Childcare.co.uk gold member then the discount can't be added to your existing subscription - it is for new subscriptions at the current gold membership rates only.

PM Richard and ask him if you can change to green, because you have over 300 posts now. Once he has actioned it, (and all the green areas open up to you), you can ask him for the 50% code.

Had no idea it wasn't automatic - not far off 600 posts, never mind 300!

I was posting a lot yesterday but my posting number didn't go up very much, I think it rose by about four and I was on all evening chatting away. Is it possible the posting number isn't very reliable?

Ps posting is going up ok today so it seems to be a fault with yesterday? And I realize the same line of posting or whatever it is called- counts as one!
