    Default new standards help

    Have recieved a letter from the CSSIW today stating that the new national minimum standards has come into force on April 1st!! what does that mean for childminders who are currently registered? what are the changes?

    As the letter says the new regulations are in response to the Children and Families (Wales) Measure. Your registration will continue as normal and at your next inspection it will be amended in line with the new regs.

    What I am doing is looking at the new regs and NMS and making sure my current policies and procedures comply. That is all you need to do
