    Default NCMA Cymru Annual Regional Forum

    This is an email that has been sent to all NCMA Cymru members who we have email addresses for;

    The event is volunteer led, by registered childminders just like you and is your chance to put your point across, make suggestions or generally talk about things which concern you. A chance to meet with colleagues from across Wales, to chat and socialise plus share ideas and experiences with one another.
    The Forum discussion topic around the subject of NCMA Groups and Associations will no doubt be lively and give ample opportunity for us all to share our thoughts on the subject – do we need them, what are the benefits – are there any benefits? Well this is your chance to share your point of view. With an Open Forum giving you your chance to have a say on a variety of things which can or do, affect your work or your membership of NCMA Cymru – all issues raised during both the Forum Discussion and the Open Forum and views expressed will be taken forward to NCMA’s board via Wales' National Policy Forum Representatives, making the Wales Forum the ideal place to get your voice heard.
    The Wales event will also include a seminar and workshop sessions on inclusion and childcare. Alison John, who is an expert on inclusion and early years, will deliver a seminar session demonstrating that inclusive provision is best for all children.
    This seminar will be followed by a choice of two interactive workshops:
    • Anti-discriminatory Practice in Early Years
    • Children’s Right’s and Participation
    If you have not attended a Wales event before we really do hope that you will consider coming along this time. We are sure you will not be disappointed and we guarantee you a very warm welcome. Please feel free to share the invitation with your colleagues; we would love to see you and them in Newport on 7th May.
    We look forward to meeting you.
    Kind regards
    The Wales Committee

    I had the e-mail this morning and would have gone but I am on a managing behaviour course that day
    Why hasn't Gary Barlow come to my rescue yet?
