Last year we had some caterpillars from Insect lore - the children loved watching them grow and turn into butterflies. It's a great activity to do alongside this book when the weather gets a bit warmer.

these are great, thankyou. This is a huge favourite in my household, we read it to our "bump" every day, and have read it to our daughter every day since she was born, and she loves the story, its the only one that she actually sits still to listen too lol. so thankyou for all these great ideas and links:-)
