    Default Paint rollers?

Can anyone recommend any paint rollers that they use for craft activities please? I have some foam ones and some real decorating ones but they seem to suck up all the paint, making it quite expensive. Great for painting large surfaces with water though.

I would be interested in this also. Maybe small decorating rollers? Can you buy small rollers?

I use gloss paint rollers, I haven't noticed them absorb the paint too much, but in the nature of rolling you do tend to use up more paint. I have little roller trays that help limit amount. I do have sponge rollers with cut patterns in them too, but the pattern gets clogged so then doesn't show on paper, so rarely use. ( reminder to myself: get rid of them now, one less thing to sort come July!)

Rollers for lino printing are not absorbent at all and give a different effect. Search for 'ink roller' or 'lino print roller'.
