    I need inspiration

Any ideas or pics that you have would be great

    Thank you

Ah now that's a great idea to use a pallet I think I may have one in garden !! Mine love water play. We have a tuff spot in the garden and they will also spend ages 'painting' with a paintbrush and water or squirting with a washing up bottle! Thanks for the link

When it's really hot. Nothing better than a garden sprinkler and the kids in swimsuits

I bought the colour tubes from Wilkinsons. They're called whistle tubes.

I have been collecting the 2l fizz bottles to make a water wall using the whistle tubes too.. This is my plan for the summer holidays.

The problem with water walls is getting them low enough for 2/3 year olds to reach. Fine to make them for grown up / older child to help ..but the nature of water walls is gravity!
Guttering on trellises is our best water game. The trellis is set up by LO at their stretching height, everything flows down with water..giggles and laughter in excess...and that includes me! Today was pom poms ...taken from craft area with water landing in a tray ( that Monday's environmental officer thought they were just for food!)
    I love this job!!!

I love using guttering! at work we have a proper set but you could just get some from a DIY store too

they are all different lengths and in groups we get the children to see how much water they can get in a bucket from one side of the playground to the other from what they started with. sometimes in teams of two or altogether! they have to balance their pipes so they all join up - you can be mean and make it so the person who started has to run round to the back and so on!

Oh! and not water Per say but I love playing I also love playing Titanic - so I tell the children we had the Iceburg flown over to school but it broke on the way and its scattered all over this area (garden/field/playground) (its in the form of ice cubes!) and they can be in teams again or just as they are, I give them all a flowerpot with holes in!! (hehe!!) and they have to run around and find as much Ice as they can and put it in their teams bucket - who ever ends up with the most water wins!

    - you can have 'Special' ice cubes you freeze acorns etc in for bonus points - the best bit is that you dont have to worry about going to find all the 'game pieces' as they will just melt!
