    Default Discovery Bottles

After some great inspiration from here we may our own discovery bottles today and I thought I would share them with you. The favourites were the ones that made the most noise when you shook them and the older children loved the ones that were magnetic. We made 2, 1 with washers, nuts and bolts in and 1 with twisted pipe cleaners and paper clips.
    Thanks for the ideas.

I made some of my own bottles after reading about them - they've been a huge hit. My favourite is the glitter stars in water. The wee ones - definitely the really noisy ones!!

Hope the picture works - never tried it before!

They look lovely, I hadn't thought about magnetic ones

The ones that we HAD! were well looked at/used by the children untill one day our student came through and said, "It took me ages to get the lids off these bottles so the children could play with whats inside"

I will admit that I bought the bottles off ebay - I wanted ones that were completely clear so it was easy to see the contents. I did superglue the lids on. I don't fancy clearing up sand, glitter or bubble liquid! Plus 1 of my 1year olds is a dab hand of bottle lids - drank a bottle of food colouring at home once!!
