Problem solving / Construction corner outdoors
I want to create a construction corner in the garden
so far Ive got these fab tubes from a local carpet fitter , for free and hopefully some crates coming
Any ideas please else I can add , cheap or preferably free and suitable for 2,3,4 yr olds for experimenting , construction ,problem solving , and where to scavenge / beg them from
ps my garden isnt massive as you can see , its just the patio area

I don't think you can go wrong with three or four car tyres.
edit: just read your post properly - scrounge them from any local garage. They will need a good wash first. You shouldn't pay anything for them because the garage gets charged to dispose of them so you're doing them a favour. You should also be cheeky and ask them to deliver them to your door

I was eyeing up some crates outside of my son's hospital/assessment unit earlier today. I was good and left them alone

ive emailed a local tyre place and offered to take 4 car tyres and one tractor tyre off their hands if they deliver , fingers crossed , and i just swapped a tube for 4 crates
now to figure out how to cut one in half to fit it in my car

Our local d I y shop gave me off cuts of guttering when I asked nicely. I'd love to rig up a pulley and bucket for sand but haven't worked it out yet.
Ask at the rubbish tip for bread baskets or crates. not problem solving. It I made a corner with rotting logs and turned over plant pots and buckets for insects to live in which the children love.
