Easter Jigsaw Chicken Craft

I love making these jigsaw style crafts for the children as all ages can join in, young mindees can just glue and stick however they like whilst it allows for older ones to use the picture as a guide and join all the pieces together to make their own picture. I have done loads of these for lots of different topics and the children always love doing them, so thought it about time i post one on the forum

I just search the internet for a picture which is child friendly in regards to the shapes i would need to cut out and then i cut the shapes out using different colour paper, (some of the older mindees enjoy the cutting out and drawing around the stencils), and then I colour in one of the pictures as a guide, and the rest is left up to the children

My mindees today were 3 and a half, 20 months and 13 months old

Another nice idea, I think I might make my 13 year old do the cutting though!

Love the idea, it can be applied to so many things. I think I'll use felt to do something similar for my weather theme. Thanks for posting.
