    Default WITCHES HATS

    Witches Hats


    Ingredients
    •375g unsweetened cooking chocolate
    •1 handful marshmallows
    •15g butter
    •450g rice Crispies

    Method
    1.Melt 25g of the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water.
    2.Add the marshmallows and stir until melted then add the butter.
    3.Stir well.
    4.Add the rice Crispies to the chocolate and marshmallows and stir to coat evenly.
    5.Allow to cool slightly then form into eight cones shapes.
    6.Flatten the large end to make a wide brim.
    7.Allow to cool and stiffen.
    8.Melt the remaining chocolate.
    9.Dip the cones into the chocolate and coat evenly.
    10.Place on waxed paper or tinfoil to cool and harden.

    Oh thank you Angel x They sound lovely, will try to make those with the children on Wednesday when I have the two 3 year oldsx.

    OOooeerrrr not too sure about anything that I have to make the shape

    They do sound great though - perhaps the children can do them by themselves!

    Miffy, its just a smaller version of your hat, model the shape on that

    We are making slimy jelly tomorrow. Make a green jelly and put in snakes and leave to set - yuk but the kids love them

    Ours didn't work
    Followed Angels instructions, but the 25g of melted choc, butter and mallows just would not cover 450g of crispies!
    adapted it and used a whole packet of mini mallows and 400g of choc and extra butter and managed to make mini hats
