Because there is a post in the section called MEMBER COMPETITIONS saying NEW COMPETITION and then everyone replies saying wow thank you (to whoever did the competition) and then they enter.

Forgot to say..... it is probably the old problem of people only reading 'new posts' and not looking in each section.

There were only 31 entries out of a possible 6,000 members

yes but surely at some point it will be in the new posts section?
