    I guess you could do them with white paper and some glitter to make pretend snowballs as well
    triangle sandwiches are better than square ones...

    Yes no reason why not, the only problem with paper is that it is easily crushed by the children, but the foil seems to bounce back and takes a bit of rough handling, if you get what I mean, but if they are gentle enough I think they would look good - might give it a go!

    ah - I get you - ooooh perhaps acetate then? they would look cool (though you may see staples) - but still another option -- got my mind whirling with ideas now

    Oooh I like the idea of acetate, perhaps even give it a fine spray of silver paint? not all over, just in patches? it would hide the staples and give a nice effect.
