Reindeer Food

We made this the other day (mindees love it)
You will need
1tbls of porrige oats (per child)
1tsp of Glitter (per child)
Saucer size piece of material
Ribbon to fasten
Note for pack when tied up
(On chriatmas eve sprinkle on your garden the glitter will shine in the moonlight and will help guide the reindeers to you house)

mix oats and glitter together place in material tie with ribbon and attach note

This idea is some simple yet so lovely. We have another thread going about it, think it's called Santa's Sparkle. I made 40 yesterday for the children at our local under 5 group and I am going to give them out at their party on Wednesday. The rhyme I use is;
Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As santa's reindeer fly and roam
This will guide them to your home

I made some for my mindees as a little something to add to their christmas gift and they have all loved it and cant wait till christmas eve now to sprinkle it outside ....
