    Default A BOX OF LOVE

Thought this was a really nice cheap gift if you want the children to do one for their parents it is a nice keepsake too!
Or you could even make one yourself for someone special.

To make this gift you'll need:
Small plain boxes- Small gift boxes or Jewelry boxes work very well.
    Glitter, sequins or any ornamentation.
    Red Ribbon

Printed poem, on good paper if possible.

This is a very special gift
    That you can never see.
The reason it's so special is,
It's just for you from me.
    Whenever you are happy,
    or even feeling blue.
    You only have to hold
    this gift and know
    I think of you.

    You never can unwrap it
    Please leave the ribbon tied.
    Just hold the box close
    to your heart,
    It's filled with love inside.

Have your child decorate the boxes in anyway
she/he pleases. Add ribbon and the poem
    with the signature.

It is a good question Kate

I think most do stick it to the box

I used small boxes last year they had a lid the children covered them and we put the poem inside ( instead of a gift ) Thought it looked better than sticking it to the outside

I might do this for Mother's Day.

I'm going to use the boxes that the variety pack cereals come in so they're biggish but not too big - last time I used a match box and thought it was a bit tiny!
