Default easy xmas tree craft easy enough for under 3

I did a really good and easy xmas tree craft today with under 3 :

made them paint a paper plate in green, sprinkle some red sequins...
cut plate in 4 and voila 4 xmas trees.
put a brown paper square for tronc.

I stapled 4 on a lengh of black wool with a regular space in between and a hoop at top.

looks really nice 4 dangling trees

hope i'm clear. it's easy and effective

OOOh and we put a golden star on top of each tree

Looking forward to seeing pics. I am not artistic in the slightest but this sounds do-able even for me!

After reading the opening post, I made these today. They look really nice, even my 1yr old used his hands to smear the paint over the plate. Having read the post again I see I've made mine differently. I have overlapped the 4 bits and made it into one tree on a string. Still pleased with the result and thanks very much for the lovely idea
