Website?

I'm thinking once I'm registered, starting up a website, would those who have one recommend it?

Also who has everyone set their sites up through please?

I will have been registered about 3 months now and we are getting a friend that works in web desgins to make mine. We got a sneak preview of it yesterday and it looks brill !

Pauline on here does them for a fee but im not sure who, vistaprint also do them but im not sure how much for sorry !

I set mine up in August and have had 3 enquiries through it so far. I use fasthosts to host it, it costs me £2.99 a month for the first 12 months and then will go up to £5.99. I also paid about £5 to buy the domain name.

My friend has had one for years so it comes straight to the top of the list on google and she told me she had 70 enquiries in the last 12 months through it.

I've never bothered before as have always been full and so much of our business is word of mouth but have had a quiet period so thought I'd give it a go and am happy with it so far.

I made my own through moon fruit which is free, but then registered my own domain name, which cost about £10 for the year,. It was great fun to do bought out my creative side, the only downside to doing a free one, is getting your rankings up top of google, that side I don't know where to begin! But am now top google places after 3 months so I'm pleased with that. As for generating business I'm not sure if it works or not yet.

I used wix which is free (and then registered my own domain name and linked it to their website.) Its so easy to upload your own photos and write your own information. The layout is already designed for you but you can change this if you want something different
