    All petitions are very important...this one is an e-petition which means it is addressed at the govt...if it reaches 100,000 signatures it will trigger a debate in the House of Commons...which is where the ratio issue should be debated!
    We can all sign it even if we have signed the other one...no reason why not!

    This Petition is in respect of Nurseries and Pre Schools not Childminders.

    I am not sure what the ratio requirement is in Pre School but I would have thought it was higher than in a Nursery anyway. I would have thought it would be around 6:1 and I don't have a problem with that either. It is for a three hour fun and play session not full on day care.

    Cms are signing this too as it is the principle of the higher ratio that is at stake not who the provider is.
    Having spoken to PLA I have not been told not to sign it....obviously people do not have to!
