I have emailed the following childminding associations asking them to tell their members about the petition and to encourage them to share the petition on social network sites and with parents who use their services.

Just got in from training with local cm group - yes told them all - glad to see the word is spreading - we must keep going until we get to the 100,000 signatures.

You know what - I freakin love the petition set up - can you guys read all the comments that have been left. We would never have had the opportunity to leave all those comments on the government one - I hope once the number start getting really high that media picks up on it - and they can see the passion from all these childminders - men and women, parents alike.

Yes, I just read through a load of them! Everyone saying the same thing. This is fantastic! I keep refreshing the page and the count has gone up again! It went up by 24 in five mins when I first came back here a while ago!

I'm quite excited about logging in tomorrow and finding how many more have signed in the night!
