Default Tax refund scam - WARNING

The tax refund scam is doing the rounds yet again so be careful!

If you receive an email saying you have a tax refund due it is highly likely to be a scam, do NOT click any of the links or enter any passwords or codes.

They usually come from an email address like this:

etaxrefunds @hmrc .gov.uk (I've put spaces in to stop it being a clickable link)

I was allegedly due a refund of £900 this morning - if only!!

They appear every year about this time as people start sending in their tax returns.

    Be warned!

I've justed edited your post a little Bushpig to take the link out, we don't want to send people to a scam site by accident.

I've had 4 of these this week
